Customer Process
Getting results for your small business is our primary goal. When you work with Broad River Creative, you will have a partner that understands small business needs. Our job is to make your website an effective part of your business marketing plan.
With each customer, we develop a series of goals and a process for meeting those goals. This allows you to track results and to stay on top of the process without dealing with interruptions. Here is how our typical process works.
Step 1:
We meet to discuss your business and the goals for your website. (We prefer face to face meetings when possible, but can work with you via Skype or phone anywhere in the world)
Step 2:
We develop a project worksheet. This lists your goals and how we plan to fulfill them.
Step 3:
Using Basecamp, we create an online project management hub for the design and writing goals. With Basecamp, we can assign deadlines, tasks that we need to complete, and we can share articles for review before posting them on your website. This provides one central hub where you can stay up to date with the project, provide feedback, and track results.
Step 4:
We deliver on time. We take deadlines seriously and work to meet them. By keeping the project open, you will be able to guide us with design revisions as we go along. This keeps us on schedule.
Step 5:
Ongoing services. If you hire us for ongoing content management, we will continue to use Basecamp to deliver your results on schedule.
How Payment Works
We work hard to keep all prices affordable for small business. We have a variety of price-points and payment plan options. In general, here is how payment works.
Website Design
For any website design job, we ask for 50% down and the rest payable upon completion. We assign each design job a deadline so you will know the completion date ahead of time.
We also have the option of a one year monthly plan. If you choose this option you must pay via credit card. We will automatically deduct 12 monthly payments. You end up paying a little more with a payment plan, but it can be a great option for small businesses with an eye on cash flow.
Website Maintenance
There are some general maintenance costs associated with a website. These include domain registration, site hosting, and technical support. We have affordable options, currently starting at $25 per month. This fee can be waived when you purchase a content management plan.
Content Management
We offer a variety of content writing and management plans. Content creation is an important element of your website’s success. It is good content that attracts and converts visitors. We suggest that all of our clients sign up for a content management plan or get training from us on how to manage their own content.
Our plans vary in price based on how much content you need created and what other marketing methods we will be using to promote your website.
Each content plan is billed monthly. You can choose to pay automatically with a credit card, or you can pay via check. You pay in advance for each month of content.
Invoices
You can choose to receive invoices via email or mail. You can also choose to auto-pay for some services using your credit card.
